Frequently Asked Questions
Are your beef organs kosher or halaal?
No, it is not. It is however free range, hormone free, sustainably farmed and humanely slaughtered.
What is the difference between freeze-dried organs and desiccated organs?
We have been using a conventional drying process (dehydration) in our desiccated range of products. Dehydration generally involves applying heat, which can result in some loss of heat-sensitive nutrients, such as vitamins and enzymes. However, the extent of nutrient loss depends on the specific dehydration method used, and we have been very careful to keep it at as low a temperature possible.
Demand, especially from athletes and practitioners, has grown for freeze-drying, it is considered a more gentle preservation method as it involves freezing the supplement at low temperatures. This helps in retaining the nutritional value, taste, and texture of the food supplement. Freeze-dried products often retain more nutrients compared to those dehydrated by traditional methods.
It is a more expensive process though, and therefore the price difference. The raw product remains the same beautiful trusted grass-fed and grass finished bovine organs we have always been using.

Whole food vitamin C derived from natural sources contains a broader range of bioactive compounds, such as flavonoids, which contribute to better absorption, utilization, and antioxidant activity of the vitamin C. Ascorbic acid, biochemically, is nothing like vitamin C. It is a pro-oxidant, not an antioxidant, meaning it causes oxidation in the body. It is much more like an antibiotic than a vitamin.
What is the difference between bee bread perga and bee pollen?
Bee bread and bee pollen exhibit nutritional differences due to the fermentation process involved in producing bee bread. Bee pollen is the raw collection of pollen grains from flowers, offering a rich assortment of carbohydrates, proteins, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and antioxidants. It is often lauded for its high nutritional value. On the other hand, bee bread, being a fermented mixture of bee pollen, nectar, honey, and bee saliva, undergoes enzymatic transformations. This fermentation process enhances the nutritional content of bee bread by breaking down complex carbohydrates into simpler forms, increasing bioavailability, and introducing beneficial bacteria and yeasts. As a result, bee bread provides not only the nutrients found in bee pollen but also additional beneficial compounds generated during fermentation, making it a highly nutritious food source for the bee colony.

Why is it important to balance magnesium, potassium and sodium?
Besides calcium and oxygen transport, magnesium can directly affect sodium and potassium inter-cellular transport throughout cells as well. Magnesium’s role in the balance of sodium and potassium is as an intermediary. Potassium can’t cross the cell membrane on its own, and needs magnesium to move across the cell membrane.
Once the cell membrane is open, the cell can absorb all of the potassium it needs to function properly. This process of achieving sodium and potassium balance accounts for 20 to 40 percent of the resting energy your body uses, showing just how essential it is to healthy body function.
